Cervical screening (smear test)

I have had 3 inconclusive smear results in the past so was referred for a colposcopy.

I attended the colposcopy clinic on the 27th December. The Nurse who did the colposcopy / repeat smear test also took 4 biopsies whilst I was there. 

I have been awaiting result letters for both the smear and the biopsies but this morning I have received a letter asking me to attend a gynaecology appointment this Friday the 19th Jan. 

I feel so worried now. Has anybody experienced this before?

ive just had my second smear ever which has come up with abnormal activity so whilst I haven’t experienced what you have I am incredibly anxious also. My only advice is calm down and remain positive, there isn’t much we can do to change it :(
