I am just wondering how long you all waited for your smear results?
My sister had hers done a little of three weeks ago and has heard nothing yet. I know I waited for three to the day for mine last year.
She has had borderline changes and HPV in the past and it’s making me so anxious for her!

Mine were in in a few days, but the hospital I go to sends them off to a separate lab. I can also check results online, but if they are abnormal results, the website says to call the office. Can she call and just make sure the results aren’t in yet?
I had mine done on Tuesday and they told me four weeks. Apparently there are backlogs at the lab because lots of staff have left because of the screening changes being implemented at the end of this year (where they will look at HPV and not the cells unless HPV positive. The staff that look at the cells currently are all finding new jobs!)
Mine took 9 weeks in Scotland and that was high grade abnormal changes!
