Vault smear

Hi ladies,

 

I had a radical hysterectomy 4 months ago following a 1B2 diagnosis and today I had what I thought was just a sign off from my consultant. It turns out it was for a Vault Smear. During this smear they found some anomalies and have done 2 urgent biopsies. I was just wondering if this had happened to anybody else. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, I was 1b1 in 2017 and had an abnormal vault smear 6 months post which was classified as VAIN 3. Have you had the results from your biopsies yet?

I eventually ended up having a round on brachytherapy in October 2018, and have been clear since then. Fingers crossed all is well for you, much love.
