After 4 years of positive HPV ( f/u delayed by pregnancies) I had a colposcopy and biopsy, the biopsy showed HSIL and I have been booked for a Lletz under GA ( GA is the norm where I live) is it possible after the Lletz that they could find it is already cancer not HSIL?
It is possible yes but extremely unlikely, HSIL does not automatically mean cancer. If you had biopsies that did not show cancer it’s highly unlikely anything more than precancerous cells will be found.
