Hello ladies. I had my smear results on Wednesday and I have high grade severe dyskaryosis and HPV. I have my colposcopy appointment in the morning which I feel is so fast? I am fully expecting to have the LLETZ procedure done.
I had borderline changes 4 years ago and that came back okay for the biopsy that was taken and I just went back a year later and it was fine. So this is my first smear since then. What is the likelihood of this already being cancer? Also, will they be able to tell me if it looks like cancer tomorrow when they do the colposcopy? Thank you ? xx
Hello. Thank you for your reply. It was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. The needle was a little sore but only for half a second and then I felt nothing. They believe they got the bad cells but I'll get the results on 18th if they are CIN2/3 and then they will invite me back in 6 months for a smear. They didn't take a biopsy though, should I take that as a good sign? Thanks :) xx
