Hello,

ihad a smear in december which came back as abnormal cells (borderline changes) and positive for HPV, following on from this I had a colposcopy but before the appointment I found out I was pregnant woo!

Due to this they didn’t do a biopsy and said they will see after my 20 week scan to double check everything however due to a very overwhelming week I’m now overthinking and worried.

Has anyone been in this situation or can give me some words of support please? Would they of done something there and then if they were worried?

Hi! I am sorry to hear you are going through this, but as the cells are borderline they will monitor you closely to see if they change.

I know it’s hard not to worry.

I too had a smear then got pregnant, unfortunately I have severe changes and CGIN along with HPV and CIN3. I have had an MRI scan and due to have a biopsy next week, under general. I will be 18 weeks pregnant at that point.

It really is scary so I understand the worry
