I went to a reputable gynecologist oncologist yesterday for a private appointment/colposcopy which he carried out but when I left I thought about it and he didn't actually apply any of the vinegar solution or iodine solution during my colposcopy.. He said my cervix looks fine and that it was just an erosion (which he cautorised, he also removed a very small polyp) ) ... Is this normal... He also done a smear whilst I was there. I haven' the had an abnormal smear as I'm not due one yet... Just been having continuous spotting that's been blamed on my coil by gp.
Any opinions on this?
