Hi all.

i was just after some general advice about CIN.

About a year ago I had my first abnormal smear test.

After referral to colposcopy biopsy’s taken which confirmed CIN 3 and also HPV.

LLETZ treatment carried out within 6 weeks.

After I was recalled for 6moth smear check my smear came back with abnormalities again.

After referral and 4 biopsys CIN3 again.

i am currently awaiting treatment under general anaesthetic Which is due in a weeks time.

i am super nervous about having this done but also having more of my cervix removed. I worry that if I am to waiting another 6moths for my smear again it could be worse?

Was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me?

hey, I have the same worries. I'm booked in for a diathermy loop under GA next week. Not sure what to expect but I'm told by the nurses etc that it's a very successful operation. Did they say what treatment you will be having xx
