Hey everyone how are you all doing? just after some advice or reassurance really you can read my discription down below for full update I had 2 separate lletz treatments last year first was for cin1&2 and the second was cin3 &CGIN fast forward this year in March I had my test of cure I had colposcopy preformed and biopsy's taken those results came back 4 weeks later all clear thankfully.
I have the implanon contraceptive implant in my arm iv had a few over the years and never get a period the only time I bled was after my lletz treatments but was only for a week at most I had the one in my arm now changed last year so still have 2 years to go sorry for the long post I'm rambling on ,
But iv recently been bleeding I thought it was a fluke period but I'm on day 11 now which is not like me I was 3/4 days at most before implant and seems to be getting heavier and not lighter (tmi) I'm thinking of ringing gp Monday to get advice but just wanted some female input has anyone had this ?? Isit normal? I'm probably overthinking things thanks in advance x
Were you given a phone number for a CNS? (clinical nurse specialist). If you have they really are a great source of knowledge and support. I have always been told to report any unusual bleeding but I've hit menopause because of treatment so this could be why. Maybe you could ring the helpline number on this site and it may give you some answers. Definitely worth getting checked out for your own peace of mind. Best of luck x
no I haven't got a cns number to ring I'm not sure if the colposcopy dept is open for me to ring and speak to the nurse there with everything going on at the moment, il try see if I can ring the helpline on here for some information also but il definitely ring the doctors Monday and see what they say hopefully it's just something or nothing but can't help but over think things thanks Again I shall let you know how I get on x
