Bleeding in early pregnancy after Radical Trachelechtomy

Hello,
I had a Radical Trach in 2013. Following IVF treatment I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and baby is doing well and growing nicely. I having been spotting/bleeding since 4 weeks pregnant with 2 significant bleeds. At first, OB thought it was a subchorionic hematoma and now thinks actually it's low lying placenta. He has no experience of an RT patient and just wondering if any of you ladies who have been pregnant since RT suffered also with bleeding as I described?
Thanks so much, Laurel

Hi Laurel,

How are doin now? I have read that massive bleeding from the residual cervix as well as ascending infection might be characteristic features during pregnancy after abdominal RT. How about having a second opinion to ease your thinking?
