I went to my Dr over a week ago with pain in pelvis and irregular bleeding. I had a baby 17months ago and after the intial first few months, I was having regular periods until a couple of months ago. I've had some dark brown discharge and also lighter blood within some watery mucus.
I was due a smear anyway and the Dr wanted to also do an examination. I have a history of endometriosis anyway so even before the examination the Dr said they would refer me back to a gynae.
During the examination (and after) there was some bleeding but they were concerned about how much watery discharge there was and also she said my cervix is "widened" well that is what I think she said? Has anyone heard of this?
Also can i ask if anyone felt generally run down and unwell before they were diagnsosed?
She put me down for an urgent referral and luckily I have an appointment on Monday with a consultant.
Obviously feeling very anxious and nervous as she said we need to rule out CC.
