? Abnormal Discharge small update

I am 4 years post recurrence and Had a couple of episodes of greenish coloured discharge over the past few weeks, I was a little alarmed as this was an initial symptom the first time round, I’ve tried not to panic . I posted on here and asked the expert on here as well . I then called my gynea specialist nurse who said she “wasn’t concerned” however to go to the GP and get some swabs done to rule out infection, she did ask me to call again if the swabs were clear.
I called my GP practice explained the situation and they saw me yesterday , swabs taken , blood test done and tummy examined. Unfortunately the GP said she thinks she can” feel a fullness” right side of my abdomen and has referred me for an urgent ultrasound. I’ve had another episode of the discharge today and I’m really anxious now .
in the post today I’ve also had a letter telling me my consultant has moved my appointment from feb 2020 to March 2020. !
I Just want the ultra sound done ASAP and know what I’m dealing with . I’ve done this cancer thing twice now please god not again .
Thanks for reading my vent , I’ve kept it to my self for now

Best wishes
Greeni

So sorry you are back worrying again,I really hope nothing sinister is happening. Hugs

Hi greeni, I'm sorry to read you're having this worry and I really hope its nothing serious. Hopefully you'll get your scan quickly. It's not long since your last scan and check up is it, which was clear so hopefully it's just an infection. My friend had a green discharge and she turned out to have bv. I think in this situation the hospital should be seeing you straight away, not fair to leave you worrying for weeks waiting for a scan x

Good luck Greeni, hopefully your doctor just being over cautious and unwittingly scaring the cr1p out of you!
Wishing you speedy results x

Hi Greeni

My GP scared the crap out of me recently - I think because its not their field of expertise they tend to be overly cautious which is good in one way but not in another.

I have had a greeny discharge at times - my consultant said it was because of the external radiotherapy and brachytherapy which has caused damange, she gave it a name but I can't remember what it was but it was nothing to worry about.

Do you have a specialist nurse still that you can talk with who could expedite a scan referral or meeting with a consultant?  Next year is way too far in the distance.

Lots of love Suzanne xxxx
