Hi I would love to speak to anyone that is or was stage 1a2, did you have your lymph nodes removed? If you did how are you getting on after the procedure? Any signs of lymphodema? Also if you did not have lymph removal, have anyone had reacurrence or how have the doctors kept an eye on you? Hearing from you will help with my decision xxxx

I'm a 1a1 girl but I noticed that you hadn't got a reply so I thought I'd jump in.
As a 1a1, I did not have any lymph nodes removed, but I know that they often do that here with 1a2 girls. It seems a precautionary measure to make sure everything looks good.
I'm on 6 month checks, which seems standard here for early stages.

radical Hysterectomy & Lmyph nose removal !
just had my 3 month check up today few little issues but nothing serious
my legs are still a little swollen around my knees but seem to be getting better.
my nodes we're all clear , consultant recomended I have them out along with my ovaries
