Just after a bit of advice to settle my nerves.
I had my smear last week and already had results. (4 working days later). I have been told to go for colposcopy and biopsy within two weeks.
My results were high-grade dyskaryosis, HPV positive with a severe rating.
Has anyone had anything similar? Just can't help but worry!
hi, i had my smear at the end of may and it took 8 weeks for me to get my results back - also high grade dyskaryosis. I had a colposcopy 6 days later where they did lletz procedure. I'm currently waiting on the results for those (its been 2 weeks).
I know it is very worrying, but its all happening so fast, which is a good thing! xxx
Yes I had this. Had smear, high grade changes and hpv. They did the colposcopy and lletz at the same time. They removed the cells, got clear margins, and tested. It was cin2 and cin3. Was clear at the 6 month follow up.
