Hi there … I had a vaginal exam earlier this year due to discharge and bleeding this lead to a colposcopy. They said I simply had ectropion and took no biopsies and treated with nitrate. Was told to have smear in 6 months which I am due for anyway. The discharge has remained the same since although bleeding stopped, I have just missed 2 consecutive periods which has never happened to me before (35) and I am not pregnant. I am having the smear a week on Friday but wondered if anyone had ever missed periods linked with anything cervical related before?

I have a friable endocervical mass, shown up on colposcopy. Awaiting biopsy results. Have a feeling due to it not being well viewed may need more. It’s scary. Hope your body returns to normal soon, contact gp if you need reassurance X
