Hi went for my smear today. I’m on a 10 year recall following Cin 3, biopsys and lettz procedure in 2009, had negative smears every year since. Anyway went for my smear today and the practice nurse asked me when I last went to hospital as she can see nodules on my cervix, she spent ages doing the smear and took a few different brushings, she made me an appointment to see gp on Monday and told me not too worry.
Well you can imagine how I’m feeling.
What could this mean? I can only think the worse.

Congrats on 7 years clear.
Nodules and cysts are apparently very common. There are things called Nabothian cysts which are tiny, fluid filled bumps that can hang out on the cervix. These are benign. Most likely something like that.
Your GP will know more or if you're still worried, maybe a trip to a gyno to put your mind at rest.
