Hi, I had my 3 year smear on Friday just gone, when the nurse started the smear she stopped and said oh a polyp, then said she was going to get the doctor to take a look before she done the smear, they both looked and said oh it looks like a massive lump/growth filled with fluid. The nurse went on to tell me it was nearly covering the hole to my cervix. (But she did manage to complete it) and that they were going to refer me for a scan. I got dressed then she went on to show me pictures of, nabothian Cysts. She said that they are normally quite small and she hasn’t seen something like mine. Now I’ve been left being so confused and scared. Has anyone else had anything similar. I’m so worried I can’t stop thinking about it

I’ve not heard of one of these, but I’ve also been referred straight to colposcopy from smear because they’ve seen something going on down there.
Did you have another appointment to assess/treat? X
