Hi All,
Just wondering how many times you can have LLetz treatment my next one will be my 3rd . Every smear I have comes back with HPV then they do LLetz to get rid of CIN 3 say it’s clear then it comes back again.

Hello I believe 3 is the max because most times there is not much cervix left after that. Hope 3rd is lucky for you take care

Hi, I’m having my 3rd LLETZ on Friday by general anaesthetic and they’ve told me after that it would be a hysterectomy. That may not apply to you though xx

I believe in most cases they will suggest hysterectomy normally if is only CIN3 or CGIN they will still allow you to keep your ovaries so you won’t go into menopause. Or you can have a trachelectomy the womb is left so you could still have children I believe this is an option for CIN3 CGIN and also early stage 1 cancer. Take care and good luck
