So im currently going through further treatment for reoccurrence.
As soon as it was found I was told to stop HRT.
Ive had several very quick hot flashes and my mood isnt great - I know the mood coukd be my circumstances.
So id like to hear of any alternatives that might help?

I believe the alternative of HRT treatment is venlafaxine, which are antidepressant but it is proved that they can reduce the frequency for hot flashes. This is what it was recommended me by my menopause specialist as I couldn’t get HRT. I cannot comment though their effectiveness as I decided not to take any treatment for menopause.
However you could check this out as an option.

Yes I had exactly the same thought that’s why I didn’t take them. My symptoms are not severe and I can cope well without any treatment. I hope all the best.

CC is not hormone driven so I wonder why?

No they haven’t, you’d think I wouldve asked but my brain turns to mush everytime I sit in front of a consultant!
