Hello

Today I went to doctors to have a coil fitted. Whilst doctor was inserting the coil she found a hard lump at the top of my vagina. She said she was going to refer me for a colposcopy for them to investigate. Im 29 and had a normal smear test 1 year ago. My nan had cervical cancer in her 30’s so im panicking a little bit.

Any info would be gratefully received

Aw sweetheart it could be something and nothing! The fact that they noticed it and are going to investigate it is great! So often these things go unnoticed. It could be a cyst or something completely boring so try not to worry about it too much x
