Hi, Im a year post diagnosis of cc stage 1b1, which resulted in a hysterectomy & some lymph node removal. I still have my overies and was told there wasnt enough time before my surgery to freeze my eggs and was told that I will need to apply for funding to freeze my eggs after surgery. Ive just been today for a consultation and was basically informed my local CCG were relcutant to fund things so Im
not holding out much hope but will have to wait 3 months before I find out. As a single woman I will also need to look for a sperm donor and surogacy which I understand is very expensive and given my CCG’s relucancy Im not holding out much hope for funding for this.
I just wonder if anyone else had experience of applying for fertlity funding post surgery?
