Finished treatment!! 6 week check up?

Hello!

Mum finished her final Brachy today (hurrah!) and has been told to see the doctor on 1st April. I was always under the impression it was a 3 month follow up whereas this seems to be 6 weeks. Is this normal? Will she still have a 3 month one?

The 6 week checkup is just to see how you are getting on

if you have  any problems etc you can chat with the dr.

the 3 month checkup will be after your mri to see how well the treatment has reacted

so it’s quite normal x

Yeah I had a 6 week check up. Was a quick chat and examination :-) then I had a three no th one aswell. Hope all goes well with your mum xxx
