Abit of background had a routine smear 4 months postpartum the results came back moderate cell changes and hpv positive my previous smear was hpv positive but no cell changes. I bled throughout my pregnancy and i was told i have an ectropian.
Anyway results of recent smear i had to have a colscopy and biopsy done.
Just recieved the biopsy results and it shows hpv and consultant has wrote no treatment needed but as the smear and biopsy show different results i will be disscussed at the mdt and then a plan will be made.
I am still getting irregular spotting between periods i also have spotting after sex and alot of pelvic pain in between periods.
Im not sure whether to let my gp know about above symptoms as not sure what else will be done.
Anyone had a similar situation?
