whilst having my first coloscopy tosay the doc said he had found V something that was bleeding and took a biopsy and said it was nnothing to worry about. why would take a biopsy? and also has anyones doctor ever said not to worry and had bad results?
Hi there, its fairly common for them to take biopsies at colposcopy, I had several biopsies taken. I think you are best not to speculate as its possible he wants to just rule out anything sinister. Theres just no way of knowing unfortunately. Did he not explain why he was taking the biopsy? It could be to confirm the level of abnormality? Did he discuss treatment for abnormal cells like a lletz or cone biospy?
