I had an abnormal smear and HPV diagnosis in February of this year and had a colposcopy in March. The colposcopy should mild changes and a polyp which were removed - the biopsy results are clear and showing no HPV. Obviously I’m really pleased but also a bit confused - why would my result show hpv and then a month later no hpv? If it’s relevant - one partner for the past 25 years, CIN3 and laser in 1993. Hoping that someone may be able to clarify this for me! Thank you
