I received the results from my colposcopy 2 weeks ago. It is CIN3. I had a colposcopy done due to an abnormal pap at my first OB appointment for pregnancy. Currently I am 15 weeks. I won’t have another colposcopy or any sort of treatment done until 6-12 weeks after the baby is born. That is almost a year from where I am at now. I hadn’t had a pap in 3 or 4 years and I’m concerned it could become cancerous before it can be treated. I guess I’m looking for any sort of personal experience or any advice. I’ve heard the bad cells could be cleared during birth, anyone have this happen? Has anyone had CIN3 turn into cancer within a couple years?
