Cervical polyp could I still have cancer

I have PCOS and always he irregular periods and bleeding. Around 18 month ago I bled after sex not always but sometimes and this would be followed by a period. I always assumed it was the onset of a period as my cycle has never been regular. For the past 8 months or so I have been having wet / slimey discharge mostly clear like ovulation discharge but it’s become constant and bloodstreaked or pink. I am having checks and gyno has removed a polyp. I bled after for 2 weeks then just was having a bit of discharge now it’s slightly pink again. The polyp was benign but my question is, could I still have cervical cancer even with a benign polyp? I am very worried about that or uterine cancer
