Cervical erosion and hpv

I went for my routine pap 3 weeks ago. Whilst I was there my gp noticed that I had a cervical ectropion which bled a lot after the procedure. The results came back that I have borderline cell changes and am hpv positive. I am terrified. I had borderline cell changes on my 2nd and 3rd smear but never hpv. My 4th smear was normal and now it seems the cell changes are back. I have my colposcopy booked for early next month. I’m dreading what they are going to find. Wondering if anyone has any advice or a similar experience.

Hi there! I am new to this forum but have quite a similar story. I have an ectropic cervix and bleed a lot between periods and bled for two days after my smear. My nurse said "wow, I only touched it and theres a lot of bleeding!" thanks lady... Did your letter say you were borderline as mine didn't go into that much detail, it only mentioned an abnormal result and that I have to go for a colposcopy.
