Borderline Changes and HPV positive

Hi

 

Just joined this forum. Looks like a great source of support and information.

My last smear result just came back showing borderline changes and HPV. Colposcopy booked 3rd March.

I previously had severe changes in 2007 which were removed and been clear since 2009.

I'm obviously worried as this is not the first time. 

Has anyone else been in this position?  At the colposcopy are they likely just to look more closely, do a biopsy or remove those cells?

I am 36 and recently learned that I had the same smear results. My smear/hpv test were done in Spet '19 but the doc forgot to call me until 2 weeks ago. I had my Colp done two days ago. Doc said "nothing too worrisome" but went ahead with a biopsy to be sure. 

I am curious how your results turned out.

I hadn't had abnormal results before.
