I am only 26 and have just received my smear tests results today saying I have borderline changes and am HPV positive, I only had one done 18 months ago and all came back negative so I was completely thrown and shocked by this result, but mainly I am so confused as to what that actually means?! Does that mean I have a high risk strain of HPV or could it be any type? I have done some research online (I know googling is the worst thing to do!) and am trying to tell myself to not worry until I have my colposcopy but that is of course easier said than done. I have 1000 questions going through my mind right now and feel like there is no one to ask. But it seems a lot of women on here have been through the same, so I would love to hear from you to hear your advice and experiences. Thanks :)
