My report from 5 biopsies
Cin3 clear margin
I just don’t understand the rest of it.
Sections from block 1 show foci with immature cells replacing half of the squamous mucosa in areas and in other regions nearly the full thickness.
Mitotic figures and viral changes are noted.
A P16 immunostain shows weak but continuos staining pattern with the foci in question.
The margins are clear .
Foci of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 3.

I think it's maybe a mistake you received these results? Pathology results need interpreted by a doctor not the patient! So it seems a bit bizarre that you received the histology..
It looks good news that your cin3 is a clear margin, the rest is medical jargan x

2 sections taken for biopsy - 1 measured 2cm x 2cm x 1cm
2 nd measured 1cm x 1cm x 0.5 cm
how much is that in relation to hoe much cervix you have - just wondered how big a but they took.
she said repeat smear in 6 months time and if that's clear back to 3 yearly smears .
