6 months on, discharge and HPV

Hi ladies,

Just a quick update on me. I have just had my 6 months check up after chemo rads for squamous cel 2B cervical cancer.

I had a PET scan, a smear and hpv testing and an internal check.

All is well still a complete response, I have cleared the HPV in the last 6 months and there are no signs of abnormal cells. I have started HRT patches a couple of months ago.

All really good news with the exception that in the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing this light brown discharge and TMI here smells a bit like bleach/ammonia. I change liners a couple of times a day.

Has anyone else experienced this after treatment?

I don’t have an infection and am so stressed with this as this odd discharge was part of how I got diagnosed.

Anyone can share something similar? When does this go away... 6 months later...

I’m having a terrible time with discharge and smell. I finished chemo rad in June 18. I had a mri in feb to check out the smell as doc thought I may have a pocket of pus but all clear. 

I have heavy discharge and although recent mri I’m freaking out as discharge was a symptom for me. I’ve got an appointment on 24th so going to mention again
