2nd colposcopy in 8 months CIN 3 back how common is this?

Could they have missed it on the first procedure, maybe?  Meaning it might have been there since and not come back as such..  I'd get them to clarify.

Thanks for your reply Kate, In March i had a loop diathermy and they said my margins were clear after that procedure. They were CIN3 that got removed. So these have come back ☹ i wanted to find someone that may of had a similar experience. When i had my follow up smear test in September i asked the nurse how common is it to have a loop diathermy then need to come back for more treatment. She said it wasnt comoon but does happen. I just find it so frustrating thus wait. My colposcopy is on the 14th November
