Unexplained bleeding

I’m 5 years post radical trachelectomy and have shown no signs of any problems since getting the all clear. Having regular checks, but my last one was cancelled due to my surgeon having to perform emergency surgery. My check up is scheduled for Tuesday (9 months on from my last one) and today I’ve noticed bleeding and heavier than normal discharge.

I’m now very worried, and glad I’ve got an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, even if that does feel like a long time to wait!  

Just wondered if anyone had had bleeding that turns out to not be a recurrence?

I'm sorry to read that you are having a scary time at the moment. I just wanted to say that if you are now five years post-treatment and you have been having regular clear follow-up exams in the interim that I would be really surprised if this turns out to be a recurrence. Hope all goes well on Tuesday! Do please let us know how you get on!
