So after havIng lletz treatment back in July last year I recently had my test of cure done again (because my last one came back inadequate, very frustrating!) I waited 4 weeks and heard nothing so decided to ring the hospital to be told the lady who deals with it is on annual leave for a few weeks so I won’t hear till after that. I then rang my doctors to see if they had the results, they said they were all clear and I have to go back in a year for another smear. I was told previously that if my test of cure was all clear and ok that I would go back to having a smear every 3 years, has anyone else been made to go back yearly?? I wish I’d asked more questions to the doctor but my mind wasn’t really with it. Hope I get my letter from the hospital soon, hopefully it will explain it better.
