Hi ladies, just curious if anyone has ever recieved there results by text message? I have been waiting almost 2 months for my results and have today had a random text saying " results have been recieved no further action required". The only test I have had has been my smear but have never known this before so its baffled me.
Hi hun never heard of anyone getting results by text but this is the sign of the times. If your smear test is the only test you have had fair enough all good but I would still talk to my gp or practise nurse to put your mind at rest I would presume they have had more than a text!! Take care x

I agree with Cherryelm about checking with your GP practice. If the text is about your smear results maybe a bit of constructive feedback to the practice would help them to improve their communication.
