Having recently had a Lletz procedure done because of CIN1 and focal CIN2 cells showing up in a biopsy taken during colposcopy, I am understandably keen to rid myself of the wretched HPV. Although the staff at my local hospital were amazing and did everything in their power to support me, I still found the experience extremely difficult to cope with and am very keen for the HPV to subside before they have to take another bite out of my cervix. I have recently read about something called AHCC, and wondered if there had been clinical trials done to show whether or not this worked to suppress HPV. If it is shown to be effective, would we be able to get a prescription for this, as it is really costly to buy it privately? Any advice would be very welcome, also general advice on how to get rid of HPV. Thank you!
