Help--- I am early 60s- No relationship for years- met someone and now have HPV. Not seeing him anymore and don't know what to do- Do I tell him and what about any new relationships ??

I had a positive hpv results and a low grade dyskaryosis cells. I'm so scared ? feeling very alone . I'm book in for a colposcopy 2nd march
Is this hpv an sti? As I'm feeling pretty awful and ashamed and disgusting in myself x ? please qny help or advice xx
