Hi all I’m currently waiting on biopsy results. Had colposcopy and LLETZ 8 days ago. Today I got a letter from the hospital for an appointment at the smear clinic in September! I assume that this must be my 6 month follow up.
Could they really have got my results back so soon even with the bank holiday? The appointment letter must have been sent last week to get here today.
I just don’t know if this means I have the all clear or if the follow up appointments are automatically generated? I can’t call the clinic until the morning. It’s driving me insane. Anyone had similar?
Ummmm unsure but I would say if you have an appointment for 6 months then its not totally serious. Maybe just CIN which they believe is all gone?!? Though I am not a Doctor ha ha
I spoke to the clinic and it's an automatically generated appointment because I had treatment. They have no results back yet. So no good news and back to waiting.
