Hi my smear came back low grade high risk hpv I had biopsy results showed no abnormalities found and back for a smear in a year ? I’m concerned as no mention of hpv in biopsy letter does this mean I still have hpv confused

my biopsy results didn't mention hpv either (it simple said I had CIN 1 and would be invited for another smear in a year). I assume the HPV is still present as i can't imagine it would disappear in the time between smear & colposcopY. Also, I don't think they test for hpv in the biopsy as you its already shown you have it from smear (if that makes sense). Xx

Yes, I had it a week ago and now (the annoying) wait for the results. I'm feeling optimistic that it's cleared (tried hard to be healthy this past year) but really want the results now. X
