Hi my smear was hpv positive and cin3. First abnormal smear ever … im 52 and everything had always been ok.
My lletz came back cin 1 but not clear margins. At first they said to have a smear in 6 months. Then they changed their minds and called me back for a second lletz. The reason given was to check they hadn’t missed anything due to the different cin results.
Are yiu still waiting for results?
Hi was about 6 weeks after my 1st lletz results. So i was all ready to just have a smear in 6 months then i got the recall.
I rang the hospital and the doctor said that the mdt meeting decided to repeat the lletz. Also if i was younger and of childbearing age they would have left me to have the smear in 6 months. But as my post menopausal so my having children days are way gone !
If you dont get a letter call them.

Fingers crossed all comes back ok for us eh ! Its the mental stress of waiting that i find the hardest. At least we are in the system.
If i dont get results in 2 more weeks, i will be on the phone !!!
