Just received biopsy results

I had my pap back in March and received results that I was HPV positive and that I would need a colposcopy and biopsy. I did that last week and was just notified that I have early stage cervical cancer. I am supposed to hear from a specialist soon on emergency referral.

I am 30 and not interested in having children. What is likely to happen next? I wasn't given very much information, as it was just a nurse relaying my gyno nurse's message.

Hi hun sorry to hear this but really until you have found out your type and stage every treatment is individually tailored. Treatment could be anything from lletz or leep, hysterectomy and chemo/rads. What I would advise you until you know stay away from google it's way too much info!!! This waiting is awful but you did say early stage so fingers crossed. Take care and good luck x
