Hi,
I am 24 years old and recently, after experiencing some odd feelings, I decided to order a HPV test from Superdrug. The results came back today and they were:
HPV high risk type 16: Not detected
HPV high risk type 18: POSITIVE
Other HPV high risk types: POSITIVE
I am now pretty terrified. I have booked an emergency appointment with my doctor, and I know this doesn't mean I have/will get cancer, but I seriously want to get checked out. What does all this mean? I know there isn't a cure for it, does it go away on its own?
Sorry, seriously confused.
