Was diagnosed with Cervical cancer stage 2B back in 2019 while pregnant with my daughter.
I had a c section and baby delivered 8weeks early and got everything removed at same time, and went through treatment and am 2years all clear now. However the past few days Iv noticed blood when I wipe after the toilet, has this happened anyone!? My recent MRI and CT scan should no signs of reoccurrence . However I’m now a little worried.

I’m just finished treatment so can’t advise but i didn’t want to not reply. I would defo get in touch with your doctor and get checked out. I know if it was me I would worry until I had been seen. Hope you get some good news soon. Xx

Is your bleeding after a bowel motion or after a wee? I’ve experienced both - it’s very scarey when it happens and I immediately contacted my specialist nurse on both occasions
For the bleeding from my bowel I had a sigmoidoscopy and an anal fissure was discovered. I was also told I had radiation proctitis as a direct result of my radiotherapy treatment.
The bleeding which followed a wee was found to be coming from my vagina. Radiotherapy can cause the formation of neo blood vessels in the vagina; these blood vessels are fragile and prone to bleeding.
Bleeding from the bladder is also possible due to the formation of neo blood vessels. I haven’t had bleeding from my bladder but I recently had a cystoscopy and I could see on the screen prominent blood vessels on the wall of my bladder - the urologist diagnosed it as telangiectasia.

Same happened to me but I was sent to gp from weston Park then back to gp then back to cancer team… Doctors say I’m suffering from anxiety… N that’s that… Doesn’t explain the bleeding tho… Glad you got it diagnosed… Just hope that’s what’s happening to.me and nothing else… I haven’t even had an explanation
