On friday I had my first radiation treatment. I felt fine for a bit after, but then I started feeling nauseous and had pain in my cervix area. I have been extremely tired since then and have headaches. Is this normal? Has anyone else felt this bad after their first treatment?
After my first chemo and radiation I think I had almost the most intense pain in my life. Granted, pain was one of my symptoms but I didn’t think it could get worse. I had a v big tumor but my oncologist told me it’s common to have pretty intense pain when the tumor is being “disturbed”. I also had nausea and tiredness so I think it’s pretty common but always talk to your doctor about any little symptom you may have. Wish you healing and mild side effects during the treatment! Have faith!
