I had chemo/ rads and 3 sessions of brachytherapy at the end of the treatment.

Hi lovelies, looking for some support and just to chat to people who understand.
I have been diagnosed with stage 1b, MRI shows clear everywhere else however my op date for radical hysterectomy isn’t until 10 October. I am in a state of panic on a daily basis that in this time it could spread. Currently they are hoping for surgery alone to be a cure but I’m worried that the time they are leaving me could mean I need other treatment after.
Has anyone else worried about this? And how long did you wait from diagnosis to treatment?

It’s hard isn’t it. I have an appt weds to discuss next steps. Think I’ll have chemo/radio then hysterectomy xxx how about you? Xxx

What stage is yours?
They are hoping a full hysterectomy will be enough. I just want it done like now…… the waiting is awful.

Had full hysterectomy in Oct. Got all clear from that and now I’m back at uni/placement (student midwife)
I have 3 monthly check up and first one on Feb, I’m so nervous for it! Always think the worst!
