Hi all!
Following a tracalectomy six months ago, I have not had a period, only the odd day of spotting. After a colposcopy today, I have suspected stenosis. I’ve got to have an ultrasound to confirm but my consultant is pretty sure this is the case.
The treatment would be day surgery to dilate the cervix. I have extensive endometriosis and so I think any other way wouldn’t be bearable. I’m not too worried but want to be as prepared as possible, and have an idea of recovery time.
I am struggling to find any information online about what this procedure would entail. If anyone has a similar experience they would be happy to share that would be appreciated.
