I finished my treatment 27/12/12 and almost immediately I started with pain in my joints. My consultant was baffled as its not just restricted to my pelvic area. He wanted to take a wait and see approach which I have been happy to do but at my last 3 month check on 8/10 I expressed concerns again about then pain worsening rather than improving so the first step is to do a bone scan. Has anyone had one and what was the result?

i had had one last week and got the result on Thursday, it was wear and tear caused by the radiotherapy
so was nothing for me to be worried about.

Hi,
Yeah it was because I was suffering with horrific hip pain, it got so bad I could hardly move so was given a scan to just be on the safe side.
Hows your hip pain now? Are you able to manage it? xx
