Hi all. I will try to keep this short as possible, and I wonder if anyone could give me advice!
I went for my smear as soon as I could at the age of 25. I had abnormal cells, so they sent me for a colposcopy at hosp. This repeated for 3 consecutive years, until the third time where they had no record of me even being at the hosp for the previous 2 years. They then took a biopsy and I had lletz treatment as they advised I shouldn’t have been recalled for these consecutive years without at least a biopsy.
I was meant to have a check up smear at 6 months post treatment, but they also failed to remind me and book me in so I eventually had one at 8 months.
2 days after this, I bled quite bad, soaking through shorts (twice). It was the colour of blood as if I had cut myself. I have then just had a brown colour weak blood each time I wipe (not active bleeding now, just when I wipe). This is 3 days now.
I wonder if the bleeding is normal? Maybe my cervix is still healing from the treatment?
