Bleeding after smear

Hi all, 

 

This is my first time on this forum, i just needed some advice as i am quite worried. I have regular periods and no probs. However i had a smear test yesterday and had light bleeding which ive never had before is this normal? Also had sex today and still a little light blood. Has sex aggravated something. I have never had bleeding after sex. I am really worried now and need some reassurance??

yes it’s normal and slight cramping I spotted after mine xx

I had a smear Thursday last week, the following morning I was bleeding heavily and it was fresh, bright red blood. A week on and I'm still bleeding just as heavily and just as bright. Is this normal?
